My name is Debra and I have been working as a contractor in my own business for a little less than a year. My background gives me plenty of knowledge not with only knowing how to get the project done, but getting it done with minor complications. My first job was a secretary in a small contracting firm, where I quickly advanced to administrator. Over the past 20 years, I learned what not to do to build a reputable business. Customer service, reliability and honest hard work is what it takes to run a business. I am the mother of 2 girls, one of which has Downs Syndrome. I am the grandma of 3 grandchildren. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, I love working in my garden and just spending time outdoors. I have an AA in business administration, which I obtained while working full time. I am currently working on a Bachelors Degree in business with a minor in either Law or Accounting. I have completed 6 houses.

Bob Johnson is a rehabber and business consultant.  He is a partner in Shiloh Renovations, LLC, a rehab and construction company that buys and renovates older residential property.

NOTE:  This is PART ONE of an all day class.  You can choose to attend only Part One or only Part Two or you can attend both classes.  If you choose to go to both classes you need to register separately for each class.

So you have decided to become a Landlord, now what? Do you manage your property(s) yourself, or hire a Management Company? In this class you will learn about legislative laws, and guidelines pertaining to rental properties, dealing with tenants, maximizing cash flow and record keeping. 

Patricia Weaver is the owner of Canton Management Company.  She is also a licensed Real Estate Agent, buying and selling mainly for real estate investors. 
Canton Management Company leases and maintains over 350 plus units in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
